There’s still space for about 15 more readers at Blog Out Loud. If you’d like to read, pick out your favourite blog post from the past year and send it to me.
There’s a time limit of five minutes per reader, so if I think your post is a little on the long side, you may be asked to cut it down. But don’t let that stop you from submitting! Who knows, if it turns out there’s only three of us who turn up, we can each read for an hour.
I’ll also be using the submissions to try to put together a reading order for the evening. Hopefully I’ll be able to make an evening that’s balanced between happy and sad, funny and heartbreaking.
Not TOO ambitious or anything, am I?

I’m really looking forward to this. There are a lot of VERY talented writers in the Ottawa blogging community. I suspect quite a few of them fear public speaking but there is also a large base of support and connectedness and it’d be like reading for family, right? Wouldn’t it be nice if some of the photography of Ottawa photobloggers was on display that night at Raw Sugar… kind of like their favourite photoposts?

skylark has a good point: some great authors out there might have a fear of public speaking.
You could offer reading submitted posts yourself or say that the people can bring a friend to read their post. Of course, maybe people would think of those options anyway….
I don’t really have any read worthy posts (I’m not a writer), but I would be happy to read for someone if they have too strong a fear of public speaking. 🙂
