Come and Hear…Nadine Thornhill of Adorkable Thespian!

The first time you visit Nadine’s blog, Adorkable Thespian, you’ll feel like you know her. Her voice is clear, fresh, and honest – and oh boy, does she ever have some stories to tell. Nadine has a toe in many different arts communities in Ottawa, and it’s fascinating to be invited into her creative process. Whether she is writing, directing, or starring in a play for the Fringe festival, reading poetry at slam events, acting or writing as a member of the New Ottawa Repertory Theatre, or working her day job as Program Director for Planned Parenthood’s Insight Theatre, she’s always got something on the go.

Nadine’s not one to shy away from controversy and she’s a lady of polite but firm opinions. She’s more than willing to appear in public for good causes and to ask tough questions of local politicians who represent certain parties who do not support the arts. She’s turning into both an artistic and community leader in Ottawa.

You may also know Nadine as the sex advice columnist for Apt 613. Nadine’s long history of working at Venus Envy, and giving seminars on sexual techniques and products, makes her a bit of a sex expert who isn’t afraid to give you the goods. Check out her column, Dirty Laundry, and you’ll find frank, open, and actually useful advice.

And we haven’t even mentioned her love of Scrabble, her passion for trivia, and her legendary clumsiness.

Don’t miss this well-known Ottawa performer at Blog Out Loud on July 7!
